2011 Challenge - Lloyd's to Monte Carlo
Starting on the 3rd September Members of the LCC rode from Lloyd’s to Monte Carlo. Like our other tours, it was very demanding: We covered over 950 miles and had to endure over 50,000ft of climbing; including famous Tour de France cols such as Alp d’Huez.

Who are we?
At the beginning of 2009 a group of enthusiastic riders, ranging in experience from long term club cyclists through leisure cyclists with 2-3 years experience to complete beginners, formed the Lloyd’s Cycling Club.
We aim to help others by raising money for charity and at the same time benefit from improved health and team work resulting from the cycling and collaborating on projects.
Membership of the club is open to anyone, but is principally based around the Lloyd’s market place.
The club does have regular rides in various geographic locations around London (see Regular Rides). Having said this, as we do not have one geographic location to ride from, the club concentrates its efforts on specific “events” and membership should really be seen as additional to other clubs you may belong to. Members are road riders and offroaders. We are looking to form a triathlon group during 2010.
